The first day of Acadia 5163 was very informative. A great way to get
students to introduce themselves or to have students share ideas is
through PollEverywhere. This is an online polling activity that is
very user friendly. The polling is anonymous, therefore you can not use it as an assessment tool. However, it is an excellent tool to get feedback from your class on a lesson, unit or activity. Poll.Ev.com can also be used in staff meetings or group work. It is an excellent way to brainstorm ideas in a way that everyone has a voice. Universal Design of Learning, Convergence of Technologies and Assistive Technology are all important terms that are relevant to the 5163 Acadia University course.
